This is the app for the Dutch version of the television program De slimste mens. This knowledge quiz with a wink looks for the smartest person in the Netherlands. Play this fun quiz against your friends, unknown smarts or alone.

The app was completely renewed in 2021 so that you can play your favorite game even better! The app runs smoother and you can play multiple games at the same time more easily. Major improvements:

- In the list of games at the top you can quickly see which games are running and you can easily start a new game.

- Challenge friends and family from the home screen. Share your personal link and invite them to become friends in any way you want.

- By winning three times in a row you get a cup. Save as much as possible The smartest human jars together and maybe you will become the winner of the month!

Multiplayer

In the multiplayer game you play 5 game rounds against friends or random opponents. The object of the game is to outplay your opponent by making sure to run out of seconds first. In the first 4 game rounds you can gain seconds yourself by answering questions quickly and correctly. In the final you get the chance to play away your opponent's seconds with correct answers.

Single player

You can test your knowledge yourself in the single player. You do not need an opponent for this. This game consists of the 3-6-9 round only. You will receive 9 open questions that you have to answer correctly within 90 seconds. You get 100 seconds for every correct answer. With a correct answer to questions 3, 6 and 9 you will receive 300 seconds. Be quick, because your seconds are ticking off too!

Are you a real smart guy and do you get a high score? With your score in the single player you enter the rankings of the app of The smartest human. The player who achieved the highest score of the week during the television season of The Smartest Man has a chance of winning the one and only "I am the smartest mug". The winner will be notified personally by email.

New: Win series

Are you the smartest person in the Netherlands? You can prove this every month by achieving win strings in the app.

When you win 3 multiplayer games in a row you complete a winning sequence and you get a cup. If you collect the most jars this month, you will be the winner of the month! Does not it work? Don't be sad. Every month you have a new chance, on the first day of the month all winning strings are reset to 0.

You will see the progress of your winning streak at the end of a won game. In addition, you will find an overview of your current win series, your achieved win series and your place in the ranking on the home page of the app.

TV question of the day

During the television season of The Smartest Human, you can play the TV question of the day on workdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. You will see a puzzle in the app that the candidates also have to solve that evening in the broadcast of The smartest human. In the puzzle we are looking for 3 connections that are described with 4 keywords. You will see the correct answers in the broadcast in the evening. We will draw one winner per day from all players with the correct answers. The winner of the TV question of the day can be seen during the television season on deslimstemens.nl and will receive a personal message via e-mail.
