Never miss a session with Oz Wind Alerts! When the wind forecast is wrong, don't waste time monitoring all day. Get a notification when the wind is ready for you. You will be the first on the water every time! Get a notification as soon as the wind is the perfect range for your kite surfing, windsurfing, boating, paragliding and more!

Set an alert when the wind is your desired range on the time schedule you specify! For example, you might want to get a wind alert if the wind at the Gold Coast in QLD Australia is between 15 - 25 knots on weekdays between 3 pm - 5 pm or weekends between 9 am - 5 pm.

See the wind forecast so you can plan your week according to what you loving doing best. Can see a wind graph to plan your day on the chosen day.

If you get your Australia wind alert but you are not able to go out, simply mute the wind alerts for the rest of the day so you can continue with what you were doing.

Oz Wind Alerts was created for when the wind forecasts are wrong! Inevitably the wind doesn't come at the time or strength that was forecasted so instead of wasting time monitoring how the wind is progressing, you can get an Oz Wind Alert when the wind gets to your thresholds. You can set the minimum and maximum wind range that you would like. You can also set the time schedule for your alert from weekdays, weekends, any day or a particular day Mon-Sun. For each day, specify the earliest and latest time you would want to get an alert for. For example, it is not of interest if the wind is strong at 10 pm so you can filter these notifications out.

The wind observations are updated for every BOM weather station across Australia every 10 minutes.

Oz Wind Alerts currently only supports Australian weather stations. You can add any BOM station from Queensland (Qld), new south wales (NSW) Tasmania (Tas), Victoria (Vic), South Australia (SA), northern territory (NT), Western Australia (WA).
