Football Game or Practice Log

The Football Game or Practice Log is a MajorForms android application which allows a coach, parent, staff, etc. to document each play during a game or practice including video, statistics, and notes. In fact, we envision several people assigned to gather specific information on each play making the gathering of data simple (e.g., one person collects yards gained while another records the players involved). You can also allow family, friends, players, coaches, etc. to view the data and video during (live) or after the game or practice sharing it through the website you can create on MajorForms or through Facebook or Google+, Twitter, e-mail, etc. Once the plays are uploaded to your website you can edit the data, augment the statistics, create reports and/or maps, and download the data or reports to spreadsheets or other documents. If you are not using your smartphone or tablet to take the video each play can be added automatically to the play event from another camera after the game or practice on our website. You do not need to have access to the internet to run the application, but if you do, you can upload your data and preserve it. In addition, the application comes with tools such as weather documentation which records the temperature, pressure, humidity, wind direction, etc. for each play. Give it a try, it is free. Each play comes with formatted fields to record the players involved, the yards gained, penalties, turnovers, etc. Specific fields can be hidden and an unlimited number of additional fields can be added.

Share the plays instantaneously with players, coaches, and parents with the ability to post all your media on any of an almost unlimited number of social websites or communicate information via e-mail, Skype, and other IM systems.

Create your own free website to share the plays with others in real time. The website includes a gallery of your videos and images along with standard Google maps.

Don't worry about the loss of any media or data. The application automatically synchronizes your data in the background in our database and, if desired, your website, effectively backing up your data for later use.

After the game or practice the plays can be downloaded to a spreadsheet, powerpoint, or other documents. You can also extensively filter the information to hone in on certain aspects of the game or practice. Our reports section of the website allows you to create specialized documents and graphs from the filtered data.

If others are at the game, they can add their own notes, statistics or even video and images through their smartphones or tablets, to each play if you choose to share your username with them. All smartphones and tablets will be instantaneously updated with the shared information through the application and include all the collected information on your website. Or each individual at the game can create their own account and website on MajorForms to document the game or practice themselves. In fact, various people at a game can be assigned to collect specific information making it less onerous for one individual.
